About — Couleur

Est. — Jiyugaoka & Tsukuba

Not trends, but essence.
We believe in unhurried craftsmanship
and the beauty that time nurtures.

A place to meet artisans
from around the world.

Through two stores, Carrefour in Jiyugaoka and Katati to Tè in Tsukuba, Couleur brings you the work of independent makers from Japan and Europe. We believe in doing more than simply putting clothes on display: we want to pass them on together with the thinking behind them and the traces of the hands that made them.

The antique key hanging at our entrance symbolizes an open door, and at the same time the way into a carefully chosen world. Welcoming, yet with a certain exclusivity. We value both.

01
Craftsmanship

Made by hand, not by machine. Sewing, tanning, dyeing. We honor the countless decisions that accumulate in a single garment.

02
Timelessness

Rather than chasing trends, we offer clothes that will be more beautiful 10 years from now. The passing of time is not deterioration; it becomes a record that is yours alone.

03
Curation

Quality over quantity. Each season, we carefully select only what we truly want to bring you, with respect for independent designers.

The door is always open.
