・The first thing we want you to feel when you touch it is how surprisingly light this coat is.
・A trench coat tends to bring to mind a heavy wool coat, but this one defies that image — in the best sense — the moment it rests on your shoulders.
・The fabric is a blend of 52% wool, 36% cotton, 9% yak and 3% linen.
・To the warmth of wool it adds the softness and warmth unique to yak, while the cotton and linen in the mix give a light, lively hand that is more than simply “heavy and warm.”
・Yak is a natural fiber with exceptional warmth, also prized for its soft touch and lofty texture. Though only 9% of the blend, it gives the fabric a distinctive softness and depth.
・The black-based check is superb as well. From a distance it reads as a quiet black coat, but up close a fine check emerges, revealing a character no solid-colored outerwear can offer.
・The oversized pattern allows a generous 56cm shoulder and 66cm body width, creating ample space between body and fabric. This “space” means heavy knits can be layered underneath without feeling cramped, while the coat holds a layer of air within as you wear it.
・It has the presence of a trench coat reconstructed for today through fabric and pattern, while retaining its classic elements.
