・Made from a melange-weave fabric of the finest pure linen, woven in Varese, Italy — a region renowned worldwide for fine cotton and linen

・A richly expressive texture with the natural slubs of linen and a deep melange character

・After sewing, each piece undergoes a special wash, shaping and treatment by hand at GBS Superworkrooms in Cavarzere, Venice

・Layer upon layer of handwork gives the new garment the depth of a vintage piece worn for years, and a unique hand that softly molds to the body

・The front features a coin pocket reminiscent of classic military trousers

・The front fly uses a nickel-aluminum zipper specially commissioned from YKK in Japan, chosen for strength and beauty

・No compromise on the inside either: beautifully taped seams and other details are carefully finished, even where they cannot be seen

・Key fitting areas have generous seam allowances of approx. 2.5cm, so the size can be let out should your body change over years of wear

・The buttons are hand-dyed genuine corozo (palm nut), made exclusively for GBS in Bergamo, Italy

・The buttonholes are entirely hand-stitched, a hallmark of Geoffrey B. Small; cutting and sewing a single one alone takes 10–14 minutes of work

・For the buttonhole stitching, the finest pure silk thread from Bozzolo Reale Milano Seta is used

・The brand label, too, is a hand-dyed pure silk label made exclusively for GBS by Mion SpA in Torreglia, Italy

・This is the luxury industry's first label made entirely without plastic/polyester thread

・Pure silk thread is used even to attach the label, which is sewn on entirely by hand

Care: Cleaning by a specialist cleaner, or hand washing separately in cold water, is recommended. When washing, protect the buttons with aluminum foil, plastic wrap or similar. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.

*Due to the nature of the hand-wash finish, color and depth of color vary from piece to piece. This is not a defect but a finish unique to this product.
