・Born from the idea of a shirt for every season and setting — from relaxing at home to work and going out — a “Supershirt” worn comfortably and elegantly all year round.

・Drawing on GEOFFREY B. SMALL's many years of tailoring research, it uses an original pattern that reconstructs the classic shirt with a long length and relaxed fit.

・The fabric, made in Como, Italy — one of the world's foremost fine-silk regions — is a 16 momme pure silk raso satin.

・It was produced by the Brenna family, long-established makers of fine silk fabrics in Como.

・The print is “Pixelated World of Sharks”, a special design created exclusively for GBS.

・An original fabric on a white ground, depicting many species of shark in delicate shades of blue, gray, brown and more — as meticulous as a field guide, yet playful.

・Though the print is vivid, the beautiful sheen and fluid drape unique to 16 momme silk satin elevate the casual motif to a luxurious presence.

・After sewing, each shirt is individually given a special hand wash and treatment at the GBS Superworkrooms in Cavarzere, Venice.

・Hand washing softens the stiffness and strong shine typical of new silk, drawing out a lived-in character and a remarkably soft hand.

・The collar is a classic European-style medium-spread point collar, designed to look beautiful worn open or closed.

・Cut longer at the back than the front, the asymmetric long length sits neatly when tucked in and gives elegant proportions when worn untucked.

・Tailored rectangular slits at both sides make the long length easy to move in and create a beautiful drape.

・The sleeves finish in elegant rectangular tailored cuffs, proportioned to the shirt as a whole.

・Made with traditional fine-shirtmaking techniques, the entire shirt is single-needle stitched, with no twin-needle machine used at all — an uncompromising approach.

・The chest features a rare hand-sewn curved patch pocket with invisible seams, a distinctive detail designed to blend into the shark print.

・No fusible or synthetic interlinings are used at all; the interlinings are natural fibers only, and everything is sewn in.

・All interior seams are beautifully finished with double-stitched French seams, leaving no overlocking or raw edges — an exceptionally clean construction.

・The buttons are genuine mother-of-pearl buttons made exclusively for GBS by the Lanzanova family, specialist pearl-button makers in Brescia, Italy.

・It has GEOFFREY B. SMALL's signature: 9 fully hand-sewn buttonholes.

・Cutting and sewing a single buttonhole takes 8–10 minutes; the buttonholes alone account for about 2 hours of skilled handwork per shirt.

・The buttonholes are sewn with the finest pure silk thread from Bozzolo Reale Milano Seta.

・At first glance it is a bold, humorous shark-print shirt, yet within it lie 16 momme Como silk, traditional fine-shirt construction, natural interlinings, and a hand-sewn pocket and buttonholes — GBS's uncompromising craftsmanship, distilled.
