The skilled handwork of the historic weaving mills so essential to GEOFFREY B.SMALL is carried on at the Superworkroom, where it is shaped into each finished piece. We hope you will take the time to look at every one of them.

“Evolution” began in 2021.
In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, GEOFFREY B.SMALL took a fresh look at how clothes had been made and at the very nature of fashion; Evolution gives form to the philosophy the brand arrived at through that reflection.
It steps away from the conventional fashion system, which presents new collections every season and generates waste through mass production and excess stock, along with environmental burdens from processes such as dyeing, and instead makes truly worthwhile clothes, unswayed by seasons or trends.
Research into the history of dress, the patterns the brand has built up over the years, the exploration of materials, and the techniques cultivated by artisans. All of these are studied anew and reconstructed into new silhouettes, materials, finishes and proportions.
Carrying forward all that has been built up over time, it gradually changes shape and develops further still.
It is not simply “Evolution” = “progress”; this continual cycle is what “Evolution” means at GEOFFREY B.SMALL.

What struck us most in this Evolution Ⅻ was the weaving.

Carrying on the craft of historic weaving mills, the fabrics take on a character born thread by thread.
The presence of the material itself carries through into the bearing of each garment.

Carrying forward what has been built up, toward a new form once again.

Once again, it is a collection in which you can feel GEOFFREY B.SMALL’s “Evolution” through its materials.

Building on the research we’ve accumulated, into a new form.
EVXII is also a collection that lets you feel the kind of ‘Evolution’ that GEOFFREY B. SMALL is known for.

In the coming days, we will also introduce the new Special order pieces we requested based on past models, as well as continuing pieces.
