Based in London, UK, the brand offers handmade clothing produced by a small team led by rico.
Dyeing, cutting and sewing are all done in the atelier, making it one of the brands underpinned by meticulous tailoring.
What is more, its menswear collection is extremely limited.

Inside the box sent straight from the atelier, the new pieces were packed in without fuss.
Heavily garment-washed, the pieces arrive with a handsomely shrunken finish.
Every step is atelier-made, resulting in a finish that is delicate yet full of energy.

Let us begin with the signature balmacaan coat…



A single-breasted coat with a fly front.
This season, we ordered the coat, jacket and trousers all in this same fabric.
With its check pattern it works well as a standalone piece, but it can also be worn as a set with the trousers.



Perhaps thanks to the moderate milling from garment washing, the fabric has a certain tension, a woven cloth that feels as though it has some stretch.
As the weather warms up, wear it casually, with the sleeves rolled up, for instance, to add character to your styling and make it look even better.
The large horn buttons are a familiar signature, too.

Ordered at Carrefour for the first time, “kaida” is a 3-button jacket.
Given how hot every year has become, the 1st button, placed around the solar plexus, allows a little extra ventilation and broadens the ways you can wear a spring/summer jacket.
The body has a relaxed fit with plenty of room, while the sleeves are a standard, slightly slim cut, giving the jacket a well-defined balance.

RICORRROBE pieces are often given nicknames inspired by the climate, but this shirt is simply named for what it is: “Short Shirt.”
At Carrefour, we have ordered it several times in different fabrics.
A relaxed-fit short-sleeved shirt with a patch pocket at the lower right.



In Japanese terms, this is “Kyo-chijimi” fabric, overdyed in black.
 Also known as “yoryu,” this fabric has a crinkled texture that keeps it off the skin and makes it feel cool to wear.
It has a dry hand and a slightly uneven, handsome finish.

Simple trousers with a gentle, relaxed taper.

    

We recommend wearing them as summer trousers with a relaxed, easy fit.
The fabric has plenty of character, so a simple T-shirt is all you need to look the part.
Rolling them up and pairing them with sandals would look great, too.
